Peru is a mecca for adventure and active holidays. The Inca trail is the best known, along with several variants in the same Andean area around Machu Pucchu. did you know...

Simon and Garfunkel made "El cóndor pasa" famous worldwide, but their lyrics had nothing to do with the original. This is a Quechua song, supposedly dealing with the Inca rebellion of Tupac Amaru against the Spanish, where the singer longs to follow the condor and be back with Inca brothers in Cusco and Machu Picchu.
